Hilary’s Voting Record

My Voting Record

I’ve used my vote — and my voice — to make sure Islanders’ interests are reflected in law and policy, especially those who are too often overlooked.

I successfully lodged and led propositions and amendments, including securing unanimous Assembly support for developing a long-term Energy Strategy, as well as establishment of a Climate Council and halving the residency requirement for voting in Jersey elections as well as several amendments including on the budget, common strategic priorities and on gender pay gap reporting.

I spoke out, questioned and voted on major issues affecting Islanders’ daily lives
